This one-hour tribute to the man responsible for the careers of artists like Ray Stevens, Tommy Roe, Joe South, Billy Joe Royal, the Atlanta Rhythm Section and many others, was produced shortly after Lowery’s death in June 2004. Narrated by Georgia Radio Hall of Fame inductee Bill Elder, this program ran on several radio stations in Georgia. Because the Georgia Music Hall of Fame closed its doors in 2011, any references on contacting that museum are no longer valid.
